The Tiverton Historic Preservation Advisory Board has created the six new historic site markers that are placed around the town, just in time for our country’s semiquincentennial! Take some time and find out about Tiverton’s historical areas along Main Road:
Stone Bridge Village (on Bicentennial Green next to the WWI Doughboy monument at the old Stone Bridge),
Bridgeport and Nanaquaket (on the small green across from The Black Goose at the intersection with Nanaquaket Road),
Town Farm (next to the fenced in area at the south part of Town Farm Recreation area where the Farmer’s Market is held in the summer), and
Tiverton Four Corners (at the northeast corner of the intersection with East and Puncateest Neck Roads).
